What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a great deal of language ability and I gained confidence in my ability to travel through many parts of the Arab world. I also gained close connections with local friends and got to have experiences with their guidance that I wouldn't have had without their help.

This program provided me with plenty of opportunities to engage in the language and the local culture. I learned about many aspects of local society that I was not expecting to be able to learn about. |
