About
Italy is located on the Italian Peninsula in Southern Europe, and includes the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea – Sicily and Sardinia. Geographically, Italy is mostly mountainous, with narrow coastal plains. In general, Italy has a Mediterranean climate. Find out what it is like to live as an Italian teenager while living with a host family and attending a local public high school. No previous Italian language ability is required, but you should be motivated to learn about the language and culture.
Program Details:
- 10, 5, or 3 month program starts in either January or September
- Must be between the ages of 15 and 18
- No prior Italian language required
- School year starts in September
- Arrival orientation in Milan
- Placed with volunteer host family
