It was definitely worth while. I gained a greater appreciation for America, I made a ton of new friends, I learned so much about China and its culture. I tried amazing food and made memories I will remember for the rest of my life.

I lived in the hotel and loved it! |

I loved all of the food! Be brave and try as much as you can, you wont regret it! |

We are only there for 5 weeks so you cannot fully integrate into the culture but you do a bit. |

I ended up spending a lot of money while abroad, but I shopped and went out a ton. If you don't plan on shopping a lot you could get by with a lot less money. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | You will be fine if you bring a hair straightener and power strip. Lesson planning takes a lot of work and time. Do not pack so much clothes you really wont need it. Bring lots of bug spray and workout type clothes. Bring a couple of nice dress up outfits. |
