Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The host administration department did an awesome job of making sure all foreign students understood how the university worked, where classes were located and how to succeed. Furthermore, they made the entire visa process an easy one by collecting all of the required information ahead of time and setting up appointments with immigration officials directly so that we avoided the long lines and bureaucracy. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
My roommate, an American, and I found our apartment (VP Tower) on the internet and couldn't have been happier with the arrangement. Located about 5 minutes walk from the Skytrain (the primary mode of travel in Bangkok), our total commute to school was less than 20 minutes and we were located right on the heart of Bankok (i.e. close to malls, clubs, bars, etc) |
* Food: |
I absolutely love Thai food, so I couldn't have been happier. The food at school was cheap and delicious and our apartment had tons of restaurants/food vendors in the surrounding area. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Living in Thailand for an extended period of time was a complete dream. Not only did we get the priceless experiencing of living and studying in a different country, but we were also lucky to be there during some really exciting Thai holidays. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
No safety concerns the entire trip |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
