The class I took was rigorous and difficult requiring almost fluent Spanish

My host family was amazing, simply the best.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our program did not to do a great job helping us meet Spaniards, we had a few isolated opportunities, but we did get to experience lots of cultural events and eat lots of culturally relevant food.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Pick-pockets are rampant, keep your wallet in your front pocket and don't look away from a bag.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Barcelona was expensive, but worth it.
