Understand Chinese culture much more now. I am definitely more interested in pursuing Chinese language studies for a longer period of time.

The workload was fine, the grading system was fair, and there was a great deal of similarity between the teaching methods and those at the UW. |

I lived with my host family and it was truly fantastic. They went out of their way to provide me every comfort and include me in their family. |

We went to the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Opera, Summer Palace and had many other group excursions. |

We could practice speaking Chinese with everyone and had to use it on a daily basis. Within students, most people ended up speaking English. |
