Yes. It was incredible. I learned so much spanish and I became much more independent.

On-site administration of your program

The program was very academically intense. We were not allowed to speak any English on-site which was great but was difficult when trying to make sure registration and everything was correct. I did not like that they required us to take so many hours when I was only getting 6 hours of credit transferred.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved my host family. A very sweet older couple. Very helpful in developing my language skills.

A lot of meat!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I went to various museums such as the MALBA. I was able to travel a lot and I loved my cultural experiences. Our program visited Jujuy which was very fun and interesting.

During orientation the program extensively discussed safety and health precautions.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Language acquisition improvement?

I spoke spanish with my host family and with all teachers and advisors in my program. I also practiced Spanish with other students. Most people spoke Spanish, not English.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? go abroad with an open mind and make sure to use the language of the coutnry you are in whenever possible! Avoid resorting to English. Challenge yourself.
