Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was manageable. The grading system is different and while some of the direct enrollment classes seem impossible, the classes for study abroad students are the right amount of challenging. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The coordinators are very helpful if you go to them- just remember that they're there for you if you need them! |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
My host family was very welcoming and generous. Although at times it simply is weird to be living with another family, it was overall great and I would definitely recommend it. |
* Food: |
My host family was very generous about food. The food there in general is a bit blander than I was accustomed to, but that's just something I had to accept. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:

We went on a trip to Jujuy in Northwestern Argentina as well as to an asado and saw a gaucho show in the countryside. |
* Health Care:

Use your city awareness & you'll be fine. Petty crimes may occur but nothing serious is prominent. Doctors prescribe meds for anything and everything. |

Yes
|

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | It's a very different experience so be prepared to have your ups and downs but immerse yourself in the culture and you'll be able to appreciate this South American city with strong European influences. It's a huge city with so much to explore and see and do! It's also very laid-back & overall the people are very friendly. |
