Surreal Past Review
By A student (PSYCHOLOGY., Middlebury College) - abroad from 07/09/2012 to 11/15/2012 with
CIEE: Cape Town - Arts and Sciences
I gained a deeper understanding about a country that I would have never necessarily known or cared about otherwise. It was definitely worthwhile.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
Individual Course Reviews
Course Name/Rating: |
African Dance |
Course Department: | Dance |
Instructor: | Maxwell Xolani |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | It was a really fun class that brought in a lot of culture and taught us about the evolution of South African dance in terms of oppression and apartheid. The teacher was very knowledgable and engaging. We had a final practical and then a paper at the end which I found very interesting to write. |
Credit Transfer Issues: | I did not have trouble. |
