Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was painfully easy |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
It was the most bureaucratic and ridiculous waste of time to register for classes. Administration didn't even know what needed to be done as the procedures changed from person to person. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
CIEE made sure its students were as safe as they could be with security guards and fences. |
* Food: |
I purchased and made my own food. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |

Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I was a minimalist and spent about $200 a month. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I had none, though it was more expensive to travel to other countries than I anticipated. |
