Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academics were very laxed. My favorite course was Understanding Cape Town. It was the most interesting and informative class. I learned more practical information in that one class than any other I have ever taken.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Ronel and Angela did a great job arranging everything we needed. Their office door was always open and were a great source to help with all problems. I consider them both dear friends and I am very lucky to have met them.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We lived in a big amazing victorian houses. I absolutely love that house and considered it a real home. I always felt safe. My only complaint would be that some of the kitchen appliances did not work as well as they should have.

* Food:

Food was our own responsibility so it would not be fair to complain about it.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The social aspect of Cape Town was amazing and there was always something culturally fun to do every night.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I did injure myself while I was abroad and all of my medical needs were fully met to great standards. Safety was never an issue unless you were personally unsafe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
