What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This is an INTENSE but infinitely rewarding program. No where else will you get the experience to learn firsthand about the most pressing issues facing the planet around sustainability. The program creates incredible reciprocal relationships between many different village communities and students. It also provides priceless opportunities for personal growth, practicing teamwork, and hands-on projects.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great mix between university life/dorm life and home stays. Mainly in the dorm except for 4-5, week-long trips to many different communities. Excellent, kind and welcoming home stays while on field trips!

So delicious and very cheap!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Incredibly well thought out to encourage positive and reciprocal relationships with many local communities.
