Review Your Program

* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The housing was great, so was the neighborhood. Legit, loved, loved, loved living in South Ken, best experience ever! However, those stairs were unbearable! Ten flights everyday? Especially moving in, and moving out was ridiculous. |
* Food: |
Food was great! I'm not a cook so I ate out a lot. There are great restaurants and grocery stores in South Ken, and in London in general. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Memorable cultural event was the death and funeral of Michael Jackson happened when I was in London. The entire city came together and it was touching. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Over the two and half month trip, I spent about $2,000 on food and entertainment. Bring lots of money if you plan on having fun. I had a blast!! |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I say don't let money hold you back. You can always pay off a credit card bill, but you cant get back those experiences you walk away from due to financial reasons. |
Language
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Just do it! You'll regret if you don't whether the experience was good or bad. My roommates served as each other support systems, and we had the time of our lives. It was legit like the Real World - London... Unfortunately no video cameras to record all the fun! |
