What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot more information about ecology and the importance of nature and connection to nature that the people of Costa Rica.

I would choose the same program because I interacted with a wonderful community of people that meaningfully contributed to my study abroad experience.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Since food was included in the tuition, all meals were provided on campus and I would only have to spend money if I wanted to buy something extra.

How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

3 = some opportunities to speak in Spanish, but most of the program was ran in English.
