CIEE: Nanjing - Intensive Chinese Language and Culture

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I now look at my own country differently. I improved Chinese greatly and gained a lot of motivation to continue. I made some very good friends. Future plans are still uncertain, but I am now considering using Chinese in whatever I do in the future.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Everyone should study abroad. I'm not the same person after getting back to the US. I've never been to other countries but I'm glad I chose China. Plenty of opportunities to use Chinese and most importantly, live and interact with the people there.
