Prague is a great city! Past Review
By A student (Brandeis University) - abroad from 08/29/2016 to 12/17/2016 with
CIEE: Prague - Central European Studies
It was definitely worthwhile and I learned a lot about myself and the world. I learned a lot of history from a different perspective, which I really appreciate.

|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Living in an apartment can be isolating, making it hard to meet people |
* Food: |
Since I lived in an apartment, the program did not provide any food, but Prague is very cheap and food is easy and accessible |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
City is generally very safe, it is important to travel in groups but overall Prague is a safe city |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
This program attracts a certain type of person and it wasn't necessarily for me, I would've rather been in a smaller program where the students are actually interested in learning about the culture and history |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
