What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

I had time to figure myself out a bit, as well as seeing the world from a different perspective. The cultural excursion trips were very meaningful to me, and overall the program was worthwhile.

* Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture?	mostly with american students, but it was nice to have Czech host buddies, and I volunteered with a Czech elementary school

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program?	Yes This program is a perfect mix of involvement and freedom. The work is interesting and not overly difficult, and the program offers numerous included cultural experiences. I went on about 7 trips that I didn't pay for extra, including hikes in CR and visiting other villages and towns. The program is very organized and helpful, and I never felt lost or confused. Don't look here necessarily for cultural immersion with local students, but if you are looking for an engaging and meaningful american-style abroad experience, this is a great choice.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.	The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
