It was in the sense that I got to go to a film school. I WOULD NEVER reccomend CIEE to ANYONE. the program treated us like we were 12 years old and made integrating even worse because they forced us to do all this stuff together. They were super strict about EVERYTHING and made for a stressful abroad experience. The also don't let you chose where you live or who you live with.

Did not learn as much as I wanted to. The film school for czech students is very well known but they put very little effort into the international program (and its the only program that has paying students so basically there is no filter of caliber of student just as long as they pay its how the school makes money) and then they leave you shafted with very little equipment, editing rooms, and course options. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
WORST HOUSING EVER!!! nice appt but horrible roommates!! and everyone in the program is forced to live like this! my friend had to live with two people from the czech republic who were much older then him and i had to live with one. none of us ever hung out with these people there was a mutual disinterest considering they alway spoke in czech to their friends and we didn't know any czech. |

The program made me live with a czech person who was 29 and spoke no english. it was a miserable experience considering i did not know any czech and she was a good 9 years older then me. |
