Sevilla! Past Review
By A student (Fordham University) - abroad from 01/16/2012 to 05/10/2012 with
CIEE: Seville - Communication, New Media, and Journalism
I learned valuable life skills and how to be my own person independently, without family or anything I'm familiar with around me. It was definitely worthwhile!

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The courses were great because they taught me a lot about the different culture in Spain, and introduced me to different things (art exhibits, cultural sites, etc.) that I probably wouldn't have known about or learned here in the states. I was learning even when I wasn't in the classroom. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The program was very helpful; they were always there to assist us with whatever we needed, be it questions or recommendations about something. They definitely made my experience in Spain go a bit more smoothly, and the fact that they have cultural outings and different activities for the students helped as well. |

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Avoid always surrounding yourself with Americans - it makes it easier to just speak in english the entire time and it takes away from practicing the language. If you do surround yourself with other study abroad students, try to minimize on the english or just speak in the language so you can improve it. |
