Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was sometimes a little disorganized, but the most part, all of the administration was incredibly helpful and the trips they planned all went very smoothly!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My neighborhood was incredibly safe and clean and my apartment was the perfect size for my host family and I to live harmoniously. I only had a host-mother, who was very nice and did everything that I was told she would do

* Food:

the occasional meal did not taste very good, but for the most part every meal was totally sufficient and tasted good

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Sevilla was very safe, the worst crimes to happen were pickpocketing, which my friends and I never even experienced firsthand. Our program provided a healthcare plan that helped us with any emeergency medical issues we may have had.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Just be smart and keep track of how much you are spending, if you don't want to spend too much money, it is totally achievable, just work at it. Some thing cost money that you just have to bite the bullet and pay for, like a lot of cultural things, such as museum entry among other things.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

All classes were taught in Spanish and helped greatly with my comprehension skills, also living in a homestay helped my speaking.
