Am I ready? No? Let's do it anyway. Past Review

By (History, Wartburg College) - abroad from 01/11/2015 to 05/07/2015 with

CIEE: Seville - Liberal Arts

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that racism presents itself in all sorts of ways and that feminism transfers into cultures differently. Also, that the Spanish language is not queer inclusive. I would not have learned that and challenged my thoughts about social justice issues had I not lived in Spain. The progressive movements are incredibly problematic in ways that could be easily avoided.
