What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worth while indeed. Traveled a lot and saw the country that had a ton of influence on several other counties. Amazing trip.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Work load was good except the CIEE program gave a lot of busy work which got in the way of experiencing some of the culture around you.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They were too interested in protocols and not as interested in the things that mattered. They were pretty laid back, but it WAS Spain. They sent very helpful e-mails every week.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was pretty satisfied, but my host mother was young and not always the best.

Be ready to eat different things.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Meeting not only Spanish, but several Europeans.

Very safe. Had a no fear at any time of day.
