Academics with CIEE were great. The Cursos para Extranjeros at the Universidad were not. |

We didn't BOND, but I was always comfortable. |

Host mother was mostly sensitive to my vegetarianism. Not all the time, but mostly. |

AWESOME. Trip to Morocca=amazing, other field trips great as well. |

Too many Americans in this program to really develop language. --Many program participants were uninterested in speaking Spanish all the time. |
A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | DO IT :D Unless you are looking for an intense language immersion, then you might want to choose another program. It was really, really great, but I spoke just as much English as I did Spanish, purely because the other students were uninterested in speaking Spanish all the time. |
Comments
Great program overall. Not academically rigorous, so you have time to experience cultural events. I wish there'd been more Spanish spoken though.
