Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
excellent learning environment with great teachers and classes. There are a lot less aspect that make up your overall grade, usually a midterm, semester project and a final. All staff were friendly and helpful, also understanding of study abroad needs. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Beyond excellent housing. Living in the dorms was one of the best aspects. Own bathrooms. Private balconies. Maid service. |
* Food: |
food was almost always good. Lots of options |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Because Bond is an international school that is very expensive there were not as many locals attending it. Mostly international students. But it was also partly a good thing, I was able to meet a lot of people from all over the world, but I had hoped I would have had the opportunity to meet more locals. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I always felt safe. I was exposed to a lot of health risks but was always taken care of and felt safe. The only issue I had was when I was hospitlized because I was at risk for a blood clot. The hospital was nice but the doctor was not very informing. I never had any idea of what was going on and I wasted a lot of time at the hospital because it took so long for them to do anything. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | take a risk, and just go for it. Do everything you can while you are there (except waste money on drinking) and meet as many people you can! |
