I learned more during my internship in Barcelona than I ever have in classes here at Ohio University. You are thrown into the culture and it forces you to learn and adapt.

We lived in a very safe neighborhood though all of Barcelona can be dangerous at one point or another especially at night. Watch out for pick pockets and always keep your belongings close to you, also stay aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save up as much money as you can before you leave. I chose very late to go abroad and didn't have much time to save and it hurt me when it came to choosing what countries I wanted to travel to. |
