Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The work load was similar to my home university but the grading was a bit harder. The teachers left you alone more with your work they did not stay on top of you to make sure you were getting your work done. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
When we got to Newcastle no one really showed us around to get us where we needed to be. So we ended up missing out on a few important things. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Lived in a dorm with co-ed floors. The rooms were singles and the bathrooms were shared. I brought over sheets but other wise you would have had to buy them along with the blanket we bought. |
* Food: |
The food on campus was terrible, only 3 options to choose from and if you got there too late you were stuck with whatever was left over. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The people we lived with were so nice and great to be around. They had so many fun events for our dorm so it was great to interact with people. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I never felt unsafe walking around campus. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
