The CISabroad rep was always there when I had a question and even went out of her way to take us on day trips! |

* Social & Cultural Integration:

|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I got a stomach bug while there and it was pretty difficult to just see a doctor so I just talked to a pharmacist to get medication. I was checked on by the program. I'm use to being able to do walk-ins at home, but in Scotland you need an appointment for the office on campus. |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
It was the perfect place to go abroad for the first time. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I would say standard 200 pounds each week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | When I first got to Stirling, I purchased a monthly bus pass for 30 pounds and it definitely saved money while over there. Also if you're not close to a grocery store, it's easier and sometimes cheaper to order online and have them delivered to you. |
