Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was a great experience to learn about the teaching methods in the UK. The only negative thing was I was marked down a lot on one of the papers I had to write because I didn't use a primary source. I was not told that it was a primary source, and I wouldn't have known without someone telling me, so it was a little frustrating. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Strengths - being able to contact anyone that was part of the program almost 24/7 Weaknesses - some of the excursions were set for days that were really hard on the students |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
The food is wonderful! Try anything and everything. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Going anywhere was a historical learning experience. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Stirling is an overall safe place. Like anywhere, just make sure to never go anywhere alone. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
