Meet people that have gone before and make friends with locals. Past Review
By Olivia B (Art History, The College of New Jersey) - abroad from 02/01/2015 to 06/30/2015 with
Clermont-Auvergne University: Clermont-Ferrand - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
It was very fun and worthwhile, but I had a rough start. Traveling is the best part of my experience abroad.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
School is a bit disorganized and confusing, especially for an exchange student with very little prior information regarding classes, housing, and other important information preceding actual enrollment in the school. |

Rather confusing, I expected more communication between my host and home university before my arrival. |
* Housing:

Housing is suitable, but would have appreciated the availability of choice. On the application, I was given the choice of having housing or not, without any further information on where it would be, how much it would cost, or the choice of which dorm I'd live in. |

University food is not satisfactory. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
