Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

i expected more of a break being an abroad student but i wasnt given one.grading system was fine. workload a lot since i wanted to go away every weekend.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

the neighborhood was great i lived in monteverde. it was greatttt.

could have been closer to the center of rome. very close to class though a ten minute bus ride. they gave us all the items like sheets and cookware.

* Food:

this is why i got so fat. cause of the amazing food in restuarants and food that i cooked in my ho;use.,

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

gooododdd time. went to sicily with the school. great trip learned a lot

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

they told you where to go if anything was the matter

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? groceries - 40 euros eating out 3x per week - 50 euros phone - 5 euros per week maybe 10 i brought all my toilitries in total going away about 12 weekends i probably spend 7,000-7,500 dollars
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? bus pass 30 euros a month. cell phone pay as you go is veryyyy expense. your money disappears with out even a phone call. it really sucks
