Studying abroad develops what our colleges have taught us in the classroom, by giving us the opportunity to build on our academic skills in the real world and grow personally along the way. It was the most exciting experience of my eduction so far and I would recommend studying abroad and CYA to anyone!

Classes are taught by interesting, engaging, and easy to talk to professors who are very experienced. Most classes have field trips to see what you’re learning about in person. As an economics major with a focus on political science, I was able to attend several conferences across Greece through my classes. CYA also takes you on longer field trips throughout mainland Greece and the islands. Getting to climb old fortresses, explore caves, or discover beautiful beaches always made learning about the places exciting and fun. Overall, CYA is a great choice if you want something more exciting and active than the usual classroom environment, while still learning from incredible professors and getting to travel. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish I had known to sign up for the optional trips that CYA offers. These trips give you a chance to visit new cities, islands, or countries with expert guides and professors. The optional trips took me to so many places I never would have found on my own, like secret beaches, beautiful churches and monasteries, and small museums. |
