I did think the food that CYA provided could have been better, however, the fact they provided us lunch during the weekends helped us save money during the program.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? around $40, but would also depend on the week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You are given a kitchen in the apartment, try to cook 3-4 meals a week at home to save money.
