My apartment was really nice! The stove didn’t work and the AC was spotty but it was a nice place and I loved my roommates. |
* Food: |
The food was the worst part about CYA. It wasn’t bad but sometimes the options we not great and I had multiple friends that struggled with allergy accommodations through CYA. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
A decent amount since we lived in the community. But since I was with my class almost all the time that held me back a little from more integration. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I had no problems! |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
