Studying abroad in Greece was amazing. Even though I'm an engineering student, I got to take a religion class during the summer. It was a great mix of learning and experiencing Greek culture. We visited ancient sites and met locals, which made the whole experience unforgettable. The professor was really knowledgable and made the classes interesting. I'd love to go back because it expanded my understanding of the world and showed me how different subjects can connect. Greece was a beautiful place that left a lasting impression on me.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Before Greece, I wish I had learned some basic Greek. While not essential (almost everyone spoke english) it would have been nice to know. I also think that knowing a little more background in ancient studies but that would be simply for my own curiosity. The professor did a great job explaining everything.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
