I got to learn a lot about myself and how to live on my own. CBS did not give much help and there was really no campus like Bentley, so it was up to the student to be independent and figure things out for themselves. The city has so much to do and is unlike any other city I have ever been to. It was definitely worthwhile and I recommend going to any student who is considering it.

Administration helped if there was any problems but you are pretty much on your own to figure out the school and the city. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Location was perfect and the rooms were very big. Only complaint of housing was the condition the rooms were in when I arrived and the general upkeep of it. Internet was terribly slow for a while and the washer/dryers didn't work well. The location however was right near a metro station and it was fun building to live in. (Katerine Kollegiet) |

Each room has its own kitchen with 2 burners and no oven. Everything worked fine. The school offers good food but not meal plan, just pay there. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The school did a good job having the international students interact with each other but a poor job on integration with the Danish students. Still, I got very accustomed to the Danish culture and was one of the biggest highlights of my experience. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
The school does nothing to help out with medical issues. It was very hard to see a doctor and took me over 2 weeks. Healthcare is free under Danish law so that was one plus of it. |

Copenhagen is an extremely expensive city. Even if you try and watch your budget, costs will still be higher than almost every other program. |

Learning Danish helped get around the city and understand the culture. Since most people speak fluent English, it was not needed often to communicate. |

I also wish I had booked my trips ahead of time and possibly traveled more. Also try as hard as possible to meet the locals and understand the culture where you live. |
