Studying abroad may be one of the most beneficial culture experiences for a student. You’ll be living among locals and you will feel at home soon. You will learn Italian not only in the classroom, but through your everyday life in Siena. Our on-site lectures, academic excursions, visits to museums, field trips, hands-on cooking classes will surely broaden your learning experience.
Culture courses and seminars are taught in English, so you can fully understand subjects we cover such as: Art history and Architecture, Italian History, Performing Arts, Literature, Anthropology, Economy, Health and Nutrition amongst others.

Dante Alighieri Siena is pleased to offer the option of earning recognized US college credits for Italian language and culture courses (from 3 to 7 credit-units).
Dante Alighieri Siena or the student submits the necessary documentation directly to the Language Department or Study Abroad Advisor for credit approval in his/her university/college/high school. We recommend following some simple steps in order to assure obtaining academic credits, please contact DA Siena Admission Office at your earliest convenience.
