Extremely worthwhile. I feel much more mature and confident in my ability to live by myself and take care of myself. Traveling alone was an important growing experience. The program also helped me focus on specific interests in the field of economics

Lived with 10 Americans and a Danish RA. Overall very pleased. The dorm was in an excellent location |

danish class went to grocery store and was shown what food was (everything labeled in danish) which was helpful |

Went on a study tour of Western Denmark and Brussels. Both were interesting academically and culturally. |

DIS set everyone up with healthcare cards and made going to the doctor easy (and free). Copenhagen was extremely safe |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Getting to know danes was the highlight of my four months. Danish people are extremely smart, funny, unique, and incredibly kind and helpful. Students wishing to live in an "alternative Europe" would benefit most |
