What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about how people in other cultures - especially the Danish culture - live. And the Danish culture is very different from the American so it made for some interesting observations. It was definitely worthwhile to study abroad.

Copenhagen is pretty expensive.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy food from the grocery store and make your meals instead of eating out.

I was taking the Danish class and they focused on teaching us the practical language to use everyday.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? There really is not many options if you want to practice Danish here in the states, but pretty much everyone in Copenhagen speaks fluent English.
