What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to be independent, and I got to experience all different cultures while abroad. I was able to visit 10 different countries in the four months.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Food was very expensive in Denmark so it can be hard for some students, thats why the food stipend was nice to have. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Depended on travels but just in copenhagen I spent about $100 a week but during travel it was a lot more |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | SAVE SAVE SAVE!!! You will spend way more money then you think and once you are abroad take out a chunk of money from the ATM each week or every other week and only spend that amount. Don't use your debit/credit card for everyday items. Easier to keep track when you take out money in chunks. |
