I realized how important making international relations is and how beneficial it is to learn from the successes and failures of other people/countries. I came away from my study abroad experience as a more well rounded and independent person. I came away from Copenhagen sure that I would be back some day in the near future.

It was hard adjusting to the high prices of food with a fairly limited food stipend but in the end it was fine. |

DIS requires you to participate in various cultural immersion activities. However, it is left up to the individual to decide how truly connected to the Danish culture they are. I loved taking part in the Visiting Family program! As well as, occasionally heading out to practice with the Exiles Rugby team |
