Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'

The Game of European Politics: Crisis and Survival

Course Department: Political Science
Instructor: Jacob Buksti
Instruction Language: English
Comments: This course was overall challenging mainly because I had never taken a politics course from a European Union perspective before. The professor has worked in Danish and European Politics for years and he was incredibly knowledgable about everything. We had an incredible week long tour to Brussels where we visited all of the major EU institutions as well as The Hague. We were mainly assessed through participation, papers, and exams relatively equally.
Credit Transfer Issues: I had no issue transferring the credit back to my home institution.
