What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I spent a lot of the semester self-reflecting, which I think was the most valuable part of the experience. I for the most part enjoyed my classes and my American classmates, and the Danes that I interacted with.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Much lower expectations than my home university, but it was appreciated!

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Culinary LLC had great programming about cooking, food production and waste.

* Food:

Cooked for myself most of the time, but DIS picked great restaurants for field trips

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Still very much an American environment academically, most integration opportunities were social

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Very easy once had CPR card

* Safety:

Had some luggage stolen, otherwise no problems for personal safety

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Groceries are not too expensive, but everything else...

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cooking for yourself is MUCH cheaper

Most people in CPH speak English, and we didn't learn very much Danish over the semester

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Watching Netflix with Danish subtitles, listen to the radio/Danish music, read signs

You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!
