What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Study abroad is all about discovering a new culture and seeing a new part of the world and to increase perspective as a global citizen. I'd say my experience definitely helped out with that.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

DIS wasn't as academically rigorous as my home state college. However, the resources that DIS provided as a study abroad student and the extent of the programs support was surprising.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Very satisfied with my homestay housing option.

* Food:

Lived with a homestay family and home cooking was the best.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt very culturally immersed thanks to my homestay family.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any health issues, however DIS is located in Denmark where healthcare was free and accessible.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
