Not super academically challenging, but I loved how they really believed in learning outside the classroom and connected what we were learning to where we were learning it. |

I felt pretty integrated, but you have to put in a lot of time and effort to really get to know local Danes. |

We get the Danish government health care, so it was pretty great. |

I felt safe always, even walking home by myself at night. |

Copenhagen is very expensive, but a lot of the living expenses are built into the tuition for DIS, including food and transportation. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Bring your own toiletries and school supplies with you! It might be hard to find the brands you are looking for there, and then you can leave them in Copenhagen and have guaranteed room in your suitcase for souvenirs. |
