I lived in a DIS residential community. It was an apartment style set up with 11 other DIS students in my apartment with an SRA. It was extreemly nice and in a good location. |

Food in Copenhagen is AMAZING. You can find anything you will want. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:

|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
Navigating the Danish healthcare system can be difficult. You need a prescription for everything and have to go to multiple doctors to see a specialist. It is nice however to be a danish resident because healthcare is free. |

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
Studying in Copenhagen was the best decision I could have ever made. Danish people are extreemly friendly and almost everybody speaks english. I traveled to 15 other countries while abroad, and Copenhagen is by far the easiest to navigate. It is just small enough to where you get to know the entire city, but never run out of things to do. Public transportation is super easy, and DIS is in the center of the city. Although it is cold for most of the year, when it is summer, it is AMAZING. The beach is beautiful, and everybody hangs out outside. Copenhagen is also great because during the winter it is not a touristy city. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Copenhagen is extreemly EXPENSIVE!!!! it was one of the most expensive countries to travel to, so living there was difficult on a budget. |
