A mind opening experience that was the best time of my life. Past Review

DIS Copenhagen: Semester
I really got a good look at another culture. Living with a host family allowed me to be involved in the culture first hand. It was wonderful to experience so many new places and learn to think and understand other peoples points of view.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
While I learned a lot, I do not think that the grading was American as it was advertised to us. All of my teachers were Danish and did not always seem to work on a fair system according to what we know as American teaching and grading. |

I loved Copenhagen and the way that the program was run. Having a core course with a group that we traveled with and spent a lot of time with really allowed us to being close friends, which I am very grateful for. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Copenhagen was very expensive and being with a host family helped greatly with saving money on food. Even still it was expensive. I wish they offered some type of scholarship considering it is one of the most expensive places to be. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $100 |
