I learned now to be alone with my-self and take care of myself in a foreign country. I also learned how to communicate with others, especially when they come from a different cultural background.

DIS is a good program that gives you enough hand-holding start and then throw you into the waters to let you become independent

  • Flexible academic schedule

  • better orientation planning when you have that many students coming in all at once
  • more feedback on grading
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? that there is no campus and it is much different compared to my tight, small liberal arts college atmosphere. It is much harder to meet the locals and socialize and truly bond with peers, since everyone is on the move.
