Living with the local family is an eye-opening experience. Keep an open mind, or else it won't be a study abroad experience you've dreamt of.

I never got to take advantage of free healthcare system so I can't say anything about it. |

No
I should've gone to a warmer and cheaper country. The program didn't do a good job of integrating students with the culture and didn't help students make friends in the beginning. |
Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Denmark is VERY expensive. It's more expensive than living in New York City and in London. Come prepared. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Homestay is your best bet. |
