Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Classes were a good amount of work - enough that you learned but not overwhelming. Teachers were excellent, helpful, and curricula were engaging |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Administration was incredibly helpful/ accessible at any time |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Very satisfied. Apartment was spacious, clean, close to the city, and my roommates were enjoyable to live with |
* Food: |
I cooked for myself |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Not very integrated, that's my biggest critique. It's basically a giant American bubble within Copenhagen |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
None needed |
* Safety: |
The safest it could be |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
This is a yes and a no. This is the best program for pre-meds hands down, so I would do it again because of that; however, the lack of cultural components was very disappointing |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
It took adjusting to but I managed on about 70 dollars per week |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 70 dollars |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Get a budgeting app or find another way to track expenses. Otherwise you won't realize how quickly they add up |
