BEST FOUR MONTHS OF MY LIFE! Past Review
By Ashley Myers (Connecticut College) - abroad from 08/18/2017 to 12/11/2017 with
DIS Copenhagen: Semester
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
DIS Copenhagen changed me for the better. Yes, cliche, I know, but beyond true. I left having gained more independence and confidence, as well as best friends to love and support for the rest of my life. My life was enriched and every day was tinged with gold. My happiness level was through the roof, even when stressed about school. Copenhagen itself is the perfect European city, and it truly does envelop you with hygge. It was home. It is home, a second one, at least. I made more wonderful memories than I could ever have dreamed of making. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Everyone needs to study abroad in Copenhagen! There are not enough words to adequately describe how wonderful my experience was.

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
